I would like to thank you for your donation in 2014 towards the Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting QIMR, we raised over $3.8million this year and I personally raised $4,510.

All donations will be used towards QIMR’s Flagship project to bolster ground breaking work harnessing the power of the immune system to fight cancer.

I completed the whole 225km over the 2 days on my “weapon” CUBE Mountain Bike.

Day 1 was 111km; I burnt 3,860 calories and averaged 20.8km/hr, I was soaked to the bones and my shoes were lakes but I got to the Wivenhoe Dam Camp.

Day 2 was 114km; burning 3,670 calories and averaged 19.6km/hr, sunburnt and hot – not once on the trip did I walk a hill.

I have already registered for the 2015 5th Anniversary Ride. This time my goal will be $15,000.

As a special incentive for 2015 if you donate over $1,000 I will create a special piece of oil on canvas artwork for you. (www.brentjames.com.au).

For more information on the 2015 Ride and how you can help me reach my goal to assist in Conquering Cancer visit My Personal Ride Page.

Thank you again for all your support, Brent Packwood (Brentos) and the Weapon.
