DID YOU KNOW?
Less is MORE!
When design is concerned, you want to grab the consumers attention! Some companies think the best way to do this is a busy display, when in fact sometimes, less is more.
Chances are you already have a lot of your branding materials, logos, fonts and images! But something to consider, whether your company has an in-house graphic designer, or you’re outsourcing to the display providers design services (which are often reasonably priced!) is white (or blank) space!
The rule of thumb with design is that graphic space should be 40% empty. What your message does not say is just as important as what it does say.
You want to create a visual impact to capture the eye, but you want to leave plenty of negative space in your signage so the viewer can focus on what is important! White space is your friend as it can often provide a clear path for more information.
It’s important to remember to repeat your brand if something can be seen by the public – put your logo on it and sometimes even your tagline!
