Relating – Don’t be afraid to engage in stimulating conversation. Reacting – Ensure that you are not trying to convey every service or product your company offers. You need to create a sharp and memorable message that will stick with the attendee.
Record – This step is often forgotten about, but is so important. You need to record what your attendee’s have spoken to you about, whether that is some of their interests, or information about their company. When you record this information you can form an understanding of what you can speak to them about when you contact them in a week or two’s time. This will also be helpful to the person who will be contacting them as they will be coming from a position of knowledge and knowledge is strength.
