Scope of role

Skyline Displays Australia is looking for an experienced, driven and passionate Sales Account Manager to join our friendly team based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.

This role will see you immersed in the dynamic world of exhibitions and events with a focus on nurturing and growing strong and long-term client relationships, contributing to new business development, and where appropriate assisting in the successful delivery of projects alongside our production teams.

This is a permanent, full-time position, The successful candidate must be able to work from our Eagle Farm office, as well as be able to travel to client meetings and on-site locations for project installations.

Your role and your responsibilities

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of key client accounts
  • Responding quickly and professionally to lead enquiries from marketing campaigns
  • Identifying new sales opportunities through networking existing client accounts
  • Building strong client relationships through great client services and communications
  • Evaluation of client requirements – understanding longer-term objectives and planning account growth/diversification
  • Preparing design briefs and detailed quotations
  • Preparing proposal documents
  • Presenting proposals to senior-level client stakeholders
  • Closing sales effectively
  • Briefing the projects team with client requirements once the sale has been completed
  • Working with client and project management team throughout entire project process to ensure seamless project implementation
  • Visiting exhibitions to oversee the installation and ensure the good client experience
  • 3+ Years proven experience in sales and/or account management
  • Experience in project management is desirable but not essential
  • Confident and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to create and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • 3+ Years’ experience in the events/exhibitions industry or similar desirable but not essential
  • Self-starter and able to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Excellent presentation and IT skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work to tight deadlines whilst upholding company standards
  • Confidence to liaise with senior level clients with complex requirements
