Every year Michael Straughair from Skyline looks to help disadvantaged children who come from domestic violence or poverty stricken homes.
This time of year we are all focused on what we need to give our close family and friends and we don’t always think of the less fortunate.
The thought of a child waking up on Christmas day and not receiving a gift is heart breaking but you can make a difference.
Michael is aiming to fund the purchase of the gifts to fulfil 40 children’s Christmas wish lists. There are plenty more lists beyond this so the more funds raised the more we can help.
To put it into perspective if every person was to donate at least $10, this would ensure that we filled something of every child’s list and can make the wishes of many other children come true. Of course as every parent knows the joy that unwrapping gifts on Christmas morning given to a child is something so special, please assist me in making this Christmas special for others less fortunate than us.
Please donate sooner rather than later, the fundraising will end on December 12th followed by the mad rush to purchase, wrap and deliver the gifts in time for Christmas Day.
